Ziplock Bag Ice Cream

Once when I went to a deaf-blind retreat at Seabeck in Washington State, I was taught a cool way to make homemade ice cream. I don't know the exact measurement for some of the ingredients, but you'll get the idea.

3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons rock salt
maybe 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
maybe 1/2 cup milk (We got it in a small paper cup.)
Ice
1 small Ziplock bag
1 large Ziplock bag

Pour sugar, vanilla and milk into small bag. Zip bag shut. Pour rock salt into large bag. fill large bag maybe 3/4 full of ice.  Place small bag inside large bag and zip large bag shut. Now, have fun kneading the bags for about 5 minutes or more, until small bag feels firm when squeezed.  Take small bag out and pour your own serving of ice cream into a bowl. Enjoy!
